This page contains downloadable sound files from Piri Thomas's CDs. For each audio sample, there are two identical sound files, one of which is larger (and of better audio quality) than the other. The samples range from 30 to 45 seconds in duration.

When you click on a link, this will happen:

  1. A small window or control panel will appear on the top left corner of your monitor or browser window. it will look something like this:

Netscape 3.0's audio control window Microsoft Internet Explorer's version

NOTE: If you're using the AOL web browser, the .aiff file gets automatically converted to a QuickTime sound file, which can be played after it loads.

  2. That small audio control panel will be temporarily blank (or grey), because the file is being downloaded -- nothing may seem to be happening onscreen, but that's because it takes anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes (depending on the speed of your current connection) to load these relatively large audio files.
  3. After the audio file is loaded, the small window will have the STOP, PLAY and PAUSE buttons on it (as in the graphics above), and the music should begin playing automatically.
