1930. Me in Papi's arms (Juan Tomás), born in Santiago del Oriente, Cuba in 1907. Papi passed away in 1975. I loved him, too, and still do. My sister Lillian is in the carriage, and my Mama, Doña Lola. Mama taught me about the spirit and Papa taught me to be a warrior. So I am a poet warrior. Punto.
